Why Your Business Needs Reviews & Demo

Why is SEO Important?

When you Google a business, which ones initially pique your interest? The ones at the top of the search engine. As the joke goes, the best way to kill someone is to get them listed on the second page of Google.

We would argue that, what with 90% of customers making decisions based off of reviews, the other way to kill them is to stick a business with only a handful of reviews at the top of Google.  Most customers are willing to scroll just a little more to find businesses with a higher number of reviews.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the art of making Google respect you enough to place you higher in its rankings.  In fact, businesses covet those top spots so much they're willing to shell out hundreds of dollars in ads each month and pay agencies thousands per month to try and get their website at the top of listings.

What we've found here at Blizzard Reviews is that through customer reviews alone, you can do similar work to what the agencies that charge thousands of dollars will accomplish. This is because Google looks for reputation, which agencies normally create using links from other reputable sites, and content.Reviews do both, providing Google with feedback that says your business is trustworthy and providing lots of content.

Reviews also bring in new customers. What's the point of reaching the pinnacle of Google's results if 90% of customers are willing to scroll a little bit to find a business with lots of reviews?  Not only do they rank you, but reviews also increase your reputation among normal people (who don't care how many sites link to you) who buy your products and services.
